During the Ayutthaya period, when Ayutthaya was about to lose to Burma for the second time in 1767, the villagers feared that the Buddha image would be destroyed by the Burmese. So he put some love on it and plastered it on the Buddha image. Then enshrined in an abandoned temple in Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Therefore, inviting the Buddha image from the said abandoned temple to be the principal Buddha image in the church because the villagers moved to other places The residents of Salaree Thai sub-district saw that the main Buddha image at Wat Phayao was small. Therefore, inviting the principal Buddha image from Wat Uthit Samoa to be the new principal Buddha image of the temple until the year 1950, the plaster that was plastered on the Buddha image was cracked off thus knowing that it is actually a golden Buddha image.

How to get there: From Mueang Saraburi District, take Pichai Road and go straight onto Highway No. 3041, passing Sao Hai Intersection until reaching the red light intersection. Turn right across the bridge over the Pa Sak River until you reach a three-way intersection, then turn left onto Highway No. 3225 for another 100 m. The entrance to the temple is on the left. turn slightly to the temple area
