JR Station is a contralized mass transporation system of Hokkaido and Sapporo city, encompasses a sprawling network of shops, department stores, electronics stores and offices. The shopping/dining side of things mainly circulates around five areas: Stellar Place, Daimaru, Apia, Paseo, and Esta, all of which connect through the underbelly of the station. 

360 degree panoramic views of Sapporo city can be seen from T38.  There is an admission fee. 

Admission fee:

• 720 Yen / adult
• 500 Yen for junior high school and high-school students;
• 300 Yen for elementary school and kindergarden pupils; 
• free fo childrend aged 3 and under.
