“Southern Hokkaido Discover building of Matsumae Castle ”
Matsumae Castle This northernmost castle in japan was built in 1606. Its donjon was rebuilt and today houses various items from the feudal period, including clothes and paintings. The lookout on the third floor commands sweeping views of the Tsugaru Strait.
