Mt. Hakodate This 334-meter-high mountain is known for its beautiful nighttime view, often touted as one of the world's top three night views. It commands views of the Tsugaru Strait and the Shimokita Peninsula of Aomori across the strait on clear days. The summit is accessible by ropeway.
