Situated only a one-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station, this seafood market features some 280 shops, including some where visitors can enjoy seafood rice bowls and other dishes. Most of the shops are open from early morning to around noon (varies by shop).

January - April; 5:00 am. - 12:00 pm. May - December; 6:00 am. - 12:00 pm.

(Some stalls stay open until about 2:00 pm.)
