“ Clear, clean mineral water at a comfortable temperature in a quiet, uncrowded setting, surrounded by lush nature—perfect for relaxation and wellness. ”
Pru Lumpi Hot Spring originates from an underground water system that flows through layers of rock and minerals. Heated by geothermal energy, the water rises continuously to the surface, resulting in clear mineral-rich water with properties beneficial to the body. With temperatures ranging from 40–50°C, it effectively stimulates blood circulation, dilates blood vessels, and relieves muscle tension.
From a physical design perspective, the site is developed to support various uses, including controlled-temperature soaking pools, foot baths for beginners and the elderly, and natural drainage and circulation systems to minimize contamination. The landscape is carefully integrated with the surrounding peat swamp forest, helping maintain stable humidity and ambient temperature.
In terms of health benefits, soaking in mineral water activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving sleep quality. The water’s buoyancy also helps support the body, reducing pressure on joints—making it suitable for those with joint pain or office syndrome. However, soaking should be done in short intervals to prevent dehydration and sudden drops in blood pressure.
The surrounding peat swamp ecosystem and natural streams play an important role in naturally filtering water and maintaining ecological balance, preserving both the water quality and the tranquil atmosphere—making it an ideal destination for wellness-focused relaxation.
