Khao Hin Lek Fai is a small hill located to the west of Hua Hin town and is a highly popular natural attraction. The name "Hin Lek Fai" (Flint Stone) comes from the characteristic of the local stones that can be struck to produce sparks. Khao Hin Lek Fai is a significant place that offers visitors spectacular views of Hua Hin town and the Gulf of Thailand. The area on the summit has been developed into a large public park, with well-maintained and beautiful landscaping, along with facilities for relaxation and exercise. Access to the summit is relatively easy, via a paved road in good condition.

The most distinguishing feature of Khao Hin Lek Fai is its six separate viewing points, each offering a different perspective of the landscape. Visitors can see the long, curving Hua Hin beach, Klai Kangwon Palace, Khao Takiab, and the entire cityscape with its buildings and houses. In the early morning, this viewpoint is the best place to witness the sunrise over the Gulf of Thailand, which is a truly impressive sight. Besides the viewpoints, the summit also features small gardens for relaxation and is home to the statue of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII), who was instrumental in establishing Hua Hin as a resort town.

Khao Hin Lek Fai can be visited all year round, but the most rewarding times are the early mornings and evenings, when the temperature is pleasant and the light is beautiful. The general atmosphere is peaceful and shady, filled with large trees and various flowers. Visitors will enjoy a high-quality recreational experience. The main activities are sightseeing, photography, light exercise such as jogging or walking, and breathing in the fresh air. On weekends, many local residents come up for exercise, making the atmosphere lively but not chaotic. It is considered the "lung" of Hua Hin town.

Rented Motorbike:

• Suitable for experienced riders, as the road up the hill has some steep sections, though the road surface is good throughout.

Best Time to Visit:

• Before sunrise (around 5:30 AM) to wait for the sunrise, and late afternoon (from 4:30 PM onwards) to avoid the heat and enjoy the evening view.
