“Admire the graceful curtain-like flow of Rom Klao Waterfall alongside the powerful cascades of Pharadon Waterfall, surrounded by lush rainforest and enriched with historical symbolism of unity.”

Rom Klao - Pharadon Waterfall is a hidden natural attraction within Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, where two waterfalls lie just about 600 meters apart, nestled in a lush and tranquil rainforest valley. It is an ideal destination for travelers seeking both natural beauty and historical depth.

In the past, these waterfalls served as a lifeline for the Mass Village and the Political and Military School during the ideological conflict era. Water was transported using bamboo pipelines from the falls, reflecting the ingenuity and resourcefulness of people living deep in the forest.

Rom Klao Waterfall is known for its wide rock face where water spreads out like a soft curtain, resembling a large umbrella. In contrast, Pharadon Waterfall appears more powerful, with streams cascading down rocky tiers. The name “Pharadon,” meaning brotherhood, symbolizes unity and solidarity among comrades in the past.

The trail leading to the waterfalls passes through a dense tropical rainforest, often shaded even during the day. Sunlight filtering through the canopy and reflecting on water droplets creates a dreamlike atmosphere—perfect for landscape photography, especially capturing the flowing water and moss-covered rocks.

Visitors may also spot unique plant species such as Begonia and black-stem ferns, which thrive in the moist environment and indicate the richness of the ecosystem.

For those looking for a destination that combines nature, tranquility, and historical significance, Rom Klao - Pharadon Waterfall is a must-visit spot in Phu Hin Rong Kla.
