Ao Kiew is considered a paradise for those seeking peace and privacy. Most of the area is home to luxury resorts such as Paradee Resort, which helps maintain cleanliness and a well-preserved natural environment.

Its most distinctive feature is a natural isthmus the narrowest point of Koh Samet creating two contrasting beaches within walking distance: one facing open sea waves and the other a calm lagoon-like bay.

The seawater here is remarkably clear, especially during low tide when visitors can see fine white sand and underwater rock formations that serve as habitats for marine life such as clownfish, butterflyfish, and other colorful reef fish. It is an excellent spot for shore snorkeling without needing a boat.

Popular activities include kayaking along the coastline, snorkeling, and walking between the two beaches for photography. The sunrise at Ao Kiew Noi and sunset at Ao Kiew Nai offer especially romantic and peaceful atmospheres.

During the high season, the sea becomes exceptionally calm and transparent, making it perfect for water activities and relaxing beach holidays.

• From Phe Pier (Rayong mainland), take a speedboat directly to Ao Kiew Beach.
  Alternatively, take a ferry to Nadan Pier, then continue by green island taxi (songthaew) to the southern end of the island, which is a longer and sometimes steep route.

• Bring all necessary essentials as there are few shops in the area.

• Staying at a resort in Ao Kiew is recommended for convenience.

• The best travel season is November to April, when the sea is calm and clear.
