Suan Somdet Phra Srinagarindra Sakon Nakhon, affectionately known by locals as Suan Mae Suan Luk, serves as a vital green sanctuary and the community's heart. As evening approaches, the park transforms into one of Sakon Nakhon's most romantic and picturesque locations. The golden hour sunset reflecting off the lake's surface creates a serene atmosphere, making it a prime destination for photographers and nature lovers alike. Furthermore, the park is adjacent to Sra Phang Thong, an ancient historical pond that adds a sense of heritage to the site. • Located within the Sakon Nakhon municipal area, approximately 1-2 kilometers from the city center or Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan, it is easily accessible by private car or hired tuk-tuk from the city center. There is ample parking available at the park entrance.

• Best time to watch the sunset: For the most beautiful photos by Nong Han Lake, arrive at the park between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. The golden light will reflect off the water's surface, stretching as far as the eye can see. It's one of the top viewpoints in the province.

• Fitness enthusiasts: The running and cycling paths around the park are of a good length and offer a constant cool breeze from the lake. Wearing supportive athletic shoes is recommended, as some sections of the walking paths have uneven surfaces due to the park's design.

• Temple visit route: This park is very close to Wat Phra That Choeng Chum Worawihan (just a few minutes away). It's recommended to visit the temple in the late afternoon and then walk or drive to the park in the evening to relax and enjoy the cool breeze—a perfect way to end the day.

• Familiar activities: If you're bringing children, the Mother and Child Park area has spacious and clean lawns, ideal for picnicking or recreational activities. However, bring insect repellent, as it's near a large body of water.
