“Evening floating market on the weekend only”
This evening floating market is a major spot of Samut Songkram province, about 1 - 1 1/2 hours drive from Bangkok. Here is open on Friday till Sunday (3 days). There are many local and foreign tourists in the evening of every Saturday and Sunday. You will enjoy sightseeing tour along the canals and try a local delicious food. From Bangkok, you should leave before 16:00 hrs or the sooner the better.
By car:
Along Rama II road (Thonburi-Pak Thor), Highway 35 to Km.63 going to Samut Songkhram. Then, take Highway 325 (Samut Songkhram-Bang Phae) to Km.36-37, turn left to King Buddhalertla (Phuttha Loet la) Naphalai Memorial Park. The market is nearby the park. Bus : take the bus Bangkok-Damnoen Saduak to Amphawa Floating Market.
