Private Car:

• Drive into the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park area in Sam Roi Yot, following the signs to the Visitor Center. Contact the park officials there for directions and a guide to Tham Kaeo Cave.

Local Transport:

• You can use local hired services or motorcycle taxis in the Sam Roi Yot area to travel to the starting point of the trek up to Tham Kaeo, which requires a subsequent uphill walk.

Best Visiting Season:

• It is recommended to visit from November to February, as it is the dry season, the weather is cool, and the climbing path is less slippery.

Footwear and Equipment:

• You must wear sturdy, non-slip hiking shoes or trainers with good tread. A flashlight is essential for exploring the interior of the cave.

Photography:

• Do not touch or handle the stalactites and stalagmites under any circumstances. Be careful not to let tripods or equipment damage the cave surfaces.

Safety:

• Entry to the cave must always be with a park official/guide. Physical fitness is required, and all instructions must be strictly followed.
