“Admire the elegance of the R.S. 130 Colonial-style building featuring the royal coat of arms from the King Rama V era, and enjoy learning history through the 8-room "Thsap Mueang Sing" exhibition.”

Old Sing Buri Provincial Hall is a building of great architectural and historical significance. It was constructed during the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) to serve as the administrative center of Sing Buri Province. The structure features Western-style architecture popular at the time, painted in a bright yellow tone with elegant white trim. The pediment is adorned with the national emblem of Thailand, which remains well preserved and reflects the authority of the state in the past.

In 1990, the Fine Arts Department officially registered the building as a national historic monument to ensure its protection and conservation. Later, in collaboration with Museum Siam, the interior space was transformed into Museum Sing Buri, presenting the story of the province through interactive exhibitions. The museum is divided into eight exhibition rooms, including “Ancient Treasures,” “Old Town Treasures,” and “Wisdom Treasures,” using multimedia technology to create an engaging and accessible learning experience.

The building is set along the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering a peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. Carefully restored wooden and masonry structures now serve as an important cultural learning center, preserving the roots and identity of the Sing Buri people. The exhibitions cover a wide range of topics, from the heroism of the Bang Rachan warriors to the simple yet insightful way of life of riverside communities.

For tourists and photographers, the old provincial hall is a popular photo spot. Its mustard-yellow walls and traditional wooden louvered windows create a charming vintage aesthetic. Morning and late-afternoon sunlight enhances the building’s classic beauty, making it an ideal place to explore history, art, and local culture in a relaxed riverside setting.

Visitors are warmly invited to journey back through time and discover the valuable “treasures” of Sing Buri from a fresh and engaging perspective at the Old Sing Buri Provincial Hall (Museum Sing Buri).
