Ban Phon Phrae Wa silk is about 70 kilometers from Kalasin along Highway No. 227. It is famous for its beautiful weaving. It is a unique identity of the Phu Tai tribe whose ancestors migrated from Muang Taeng in Vietnam.

Ban Phon Phrae Wa Silk has a legacy dating back several centuries. The village's silk weaving tradition has been passed down through generations, with each weaver adding their own touch of creativity and skill. The locals take immense pride in their heritage and consider silk weaving not only a livelihood but also a way to preserve their cultural identity.
