“Panoramic views of Lam Pao Dam, a beautiful sunset viewpoint near Thepsuda Bridge, featuring water activities such as banana boat rides and jet skiing.”

Laem Non Wiset is a freshwater coastal landscape formed by the construction of Lam Pao Dam, which transformed the area into a peninsula-like landform extending into the reservoir. Its shape changes with seasonal water levels, creating a dynamic natural scenery. The area is influenced by Lam Pao Dam, a large reservoir that supports the surrounding ecosystem. This environment is rich in aquatic life such as tilapia, snakehead fish, and carp, as well as aquatic plants and water birds living along the shoreline. The shoreline of Laem Non Wiset features a natural freshwater sandy beach formed by sediment accumulation. Visitors can walk along the sand and swim in shallow water, while the overall atmosphere resembles a seaside beach with wind-driven waves and open relaxing spaces.

In the evening, the area becomes a popular sunset viewpoint. The sunlight reflects off the water in golden and orange tones, creating a scenic contrast with the sky and peninsula—ideal for photography and peaceful relaxation. It is also located near Thepsuda Bridge, an important bridge crossing the freshwater reservoir that connects tourism routes around Lam Pao Dam, making the area more accessible and popular among visitors.

Economically, the surrounding community offers restaurants and local food services for tourists, especially freshwater fish dishes such as grilled fish and “kung ten” (fresh shrimp dish), which are local specialties.Overall, Laem Non Wiset is a natural tourism destination that harmoniously combines freshwater landscapes, ecosystems, and local community lifestyle, making it one of the key attractions in Sahatsakhan District, Kalasin Province.
