Mae Kaem Waterfall is a small perennial waterfall that flows year-round. Although modest in size, it stands out for its broad rock face where water gently descends from the upper tier to the lower tier, forming a delicate curtain of water and a clear natural pool where the rocky bottom can be seen, especially during the rainy and summer seasons.

One of the most popular activities here is picnicking and relaxing by the water. Many visitors bring food to enjoy while listening to the soothing sound of the waterfall accompanied by birdsong from the surrounding forest. Swimming and water play are also favored activities, as the current is mild and the pools are relatively shallow, making them safe for both children and adults.

How to Get There

By Private Car: From Phrae city, take the Phrae–Mae Kaem Road (Highway No. 1022) through Suan Khuean toward Ban Mae Kaem. The road is fully paved and in good condition. Cars of all types can reach the parking area near the waterfall entrance.

One-day trip idea: Visit Mae Kaem Waterfall in the morning, then continue to Tat Mok Waterfall for a short forest hike nearby.
