Wang Luang Waterfall is not just a natural tourist attraction, but also the heart of the ecosystem in Pa Phu Subdistrict. The waterfall is located deep within the community forest, which the villagers jointly maintain with great care. The waterfall features natural rock layers that cascade down to 7 levels. Especially during the late rainy season, the water flows fully, creating beautiful water droplets around the middle level of the waterfall.

Pristine Nature

Because it has not been fully commercially developed, it still maintains a “raw and authentic” natural feel. The air inside the valley is noticeably cooler than the outside area. The sound of water hitting the rocks combined with the sound of the forest creates an atmosphere of peace and relaxation, perfect for resting, strolling, or taking nature photos.

Charm of Faith and Culture

After visiting the waterfall, tourists often visit Wat Wang Luang, which is the spiritual center of the community and has a history of construction or renovation related to the blessings of Kruba Srivichai, making this area valuable both naturally and spiritually.

How to Get There

• Private Car: From Ban Hong District, take Highway 106 (the route to Li District) to kilometer markers 99–100. Then, turn into Ban Wang Luang and follow the signs within the village to the parking area near the waterfall entrance.

• Best Time to Visit: July – November, the water is most beautiful.

• Ask for information or advice from the villagers before entering the waterfall area.

• Wear shoes suitable for hiking and slippery surfaces.

• Bring your own drinking water and food, as there are no shops in the area.

• Please help keep the area clean do not litter in the community forest
