Khao Kao Seng is one of the beautiful beaches of Songkhla dotted with large boulders one of which is on a rock; the locals call it "Hua Nai Raeng". It is said that underneath this boulder there used to be treasure stored by the people as offerings to the Buddha's relics to be contained inside the Nakhon Si Thammarat Chedi. Their Trip was delayed by a heavy sea, and the treasure was believed to have been buried here.
"Khao Kao Saen" is distortedly called "Kao Seng". The rock that covers the top of the mountain is called "Hua Nai Raeng". The villagers believe that the soul of Nai Raeng is still Grandfather Ginseng guarding wealth until today. On Khao Kao Seng, there is also the location of Wat Khao Kao Saen. Inside the temple, there is a "Viharn of the Mother of the Buddha".
Inside is enshrined a Buddha image in the birth posture. And in the middle of the temple courtyard enshrines a large Buddha image named "Phra Buddha Metta" From the temple, there are stone steps leading up to the hill nearby. On the top of the hill is enshrined. “Phra Khao Khao Kao Seng” is a Ceylon style Chedi made of bricks and cement. Early Rattanakosin Art
