Nang Khruan Waterfall, formerly known among local hill communities as “Phoe Pha Waterfall,” is a distinctive natural attraction located in a well-preserved forest area near Phop Phra District, Tak Province.

Physical characteristics: The waterfall originates from the Mae Lamao stream and flows over a broad but low limestone cliff. The water divides into several small and large streams, cascading gracefully down multiple limestone tiers and creating a soft, natural landscape.

Natural atmosphere: As a limestone waterfall, the water is exceptionally clear with a gentle, milky tone and is less slippery than waterfalls formed over other rock types. The surrounding area is shaded by tall trees and dense greenery, providing a cool and refreshing environment throughout the day.

How to Get There

By private car:

• From Mae Sot, take Highway No. 1090 toward Phop Phra District. Around kilometer markers 30–31, turn left toward the waterfall. The entrance is located near the Phop Phra District Office. The road is fully paved and accessible for all types of vehicles.
