“Thung Wua Laen Beach is renowned for its soft, white sand, considered the finest in Chumphon, and serves as a hub for marine activities, especially snorkeling and diving.”
Thung Wua Laen Beach is one of the most beautiful and lively beaches in Chumphon Province. Stretching for several kilometers, the beach is covered in powdery white sand and has calm, shallow waters, making it perfect for swimming and relaxing. The name “Thung Wua Laen” originates from a local legend about a wild bull that fled from hunters and ran into the sea, swimming away swiftly—hence the name that translates to “the field where the bull ran.”
Along the beach, visitors will find numerous seafood restaurants, resorts, and beachfront accommodations ranging from cozy guesthouses to luxury resorts. Thung Wua Laen is not only ideal for relaxing by the sea but also serves as the departure point for diving tours to nearby islands such as Koh Ngam Noi, Koh Ngam Yai, Koh Talu, and Koh Mattra, all of which are well-known for their rich coral reefs and marine life.
With its natural beauty, comfortable facilities, and convenient access, Thung Wua Laen Beach has become a must-visit destination for travelers who want to experience the charm of the Chumphon coastline.
