“ Crystal-clear emerald-green spring water flowing through streams and natural pools, with a peaceful and shady atmosphere, cool refreshing air, and available food stalls and inflatable tube rentals. ”

Namphut Thap Lao is a natural spring formed by underground water pressure pushing water up through cracks in rock layers throughout the year. As a result, the water flows continuously regardless of the season. The water is extremely clear, allowing visitors to see the sand and gravel at the bottom of the stream. This water source is located within the Thap Lao Arboretum, an area of mixed deciduous forest and natural woodland. The surroundings are lush and rich in biodiversity, creating a peaceful and well-preserved ecosystem.

The spring water has an emerald-green color, caused by reflections from aquatic plants and natural minerals. It flows over rocks and through stream areas, forming a variety of small and large pools throughout the site. The streambed mainly consists of natural gravel and sand, allowing visitors to swim in several areas. The current is gentle and not strong, making it suitable for relaxation and family activities. The ecosystem in this area is diverse, including small aquatic plants, freshwater algae, local fish species, as well as dense surrounding vegetation such as deciduous forest trees and large canopy trees.Visitors commonly come to relax, picnic, swim, and take photos of the clear water scenery. During weekends and holidays, the area becomes quite lively with many tourists.

The site is divided into several zones, including the spring source area, stream zones, pool areas, picnic spots, and a short nature trail where visitors can explore local plant species. The best time to visit is during the cool and hot seasons when the water is clear and the weather is pleasant. During the rainy season, water levels may rise, and the current can become slightly stronger in some areas.Visitors should be careful of slippery surfaces caused by algae and help maintain cleanliness by not littering in the water to preserve the natural environment.Namphut Thap Lao is therefore both a tourist attraction and a valuable natural ecosystem, ideal for relaxation and learning about nature at the same time.
