“A crystal-clear emerald-blue natural spring surrounded by lush forest, perfect for relaxing, swimming, and enjoying peaceful nature.”

Na Wong Duean Spring is a small yet charming natural attraction known for its crystal-clear water and peaceful atmosphere. Located in Ban Na Wong Duean, Thung Phra Subdistrict, Khon San District, Chaiyaphum Province, this destination is formed by a natural freshwater spring where underground water flows through layers of rock and soil before emerging continuously at the surface throughout the year. As a result, the water remains exceptionally clear and refreshingly cool even during the hot season. One of the most remarkable features of Na Wong Duean Spring is the changing color of the water, ranging from bright blue and turquoise to deep emerald green depending on the sunlight. During late morning and afternoon, sunlight reflects beautifully on the water surface, allowing visitors to clearly see the rocky bottom, sand, and aquatic plants beneath. This stunning scenery has made the spring a favorite photography spot for nature lovers and travelers seeking a peaceful retreat.

The surrounding area remains largely untouched and naturally preserved, shaded by large trees and open woodland that keep the atmosphere cool and relaxing throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy picnics, family outings, or swimming in the natural pools. Many areas are shallow to moderately deep and suitable for swimming, although some sections may be slippery due to algae, so caution is advised, especially for children.Another highlight of the spring is its tranquility compared to other well-known springs nearby. The area is still relatively uncrowded, making it ideal for travelers who want to escape busy tourist spots and experience nature in a calm and simple setting. Wooden walkways, resting spots, and scenic viewpoints blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment, adding to its natural charm.

During the rainy season and early winter, the landscape becomes especially lush and green, while the water level remains abundant and beautifully clear. In summer, the cool temperature of the spring provides a refreshing contrast to the outdoor heat, making it a popular destination for swimming and relaxation. Most visitors choose to visit as a day trip and often combine their journey with nearby attractions such as Thap Lao Spring and Chulabhorn Dam.Although Na Wong Duean Spring has not been heavily developed for commercial tourism, its appeal lies in its simplicity, pristine natural beauty, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect destination for travelers who truly appreciate nature-based tourism.
