“20-meter high waterfall with emerald pool for swimming, trekking trail passes the famous "Tang Nam" point, peaceful atmosphere, and opportunity to spot rare wildlife.”
Ton Kloi Waterfall is one of the most challenging and rewarding destinations in Khao Sok National Park. It is like a "reward for trekkers" with a walking distance of over 7–9 kilometers per trip (14–18 kilometers round trip), which keeps the area highly natural and uncrowded. Those who arrive will encounter the image of water flowing from a limestone cliff approximately 20 meters high, hitting the emerald green pool, creating a mist that beautifully reflects the sunlight.
The path to the waterfall is considered one of the most complete nature trails in the tropical rainforests of Thailand. The trail meanders along the Khlong Sok stream, passing through a highly diverse rainforest ecosystem, including large trees, ferns, moss, and epiphytes. There is also an opportunity to spot rare wildlife such as hornbills, spectacled langurs, and rainforest reptiles along the way.
One of the main highlights is the point called "Tang Nam", which is a geological phenomenon caused by the flow of water through layers of rock, creating a unique feature that is difficult to find elsewhere. This point is not only beautiful but also an important natural learning resource in the Khao Sok area.
Upon reaching the waterfall, tourists can relax on the large rocks in front of the cliff or choose to swim in the wide, clear, and cool natural pool, which is perfect for relieving fatigue after trekking. The surrounding atmosphere is peaceful, with only the sound of the waterfall and nature, making it a suitable place to experience "Nature Therapy" in its truest form.
Due to the location of Ton Kloi Waterfall within the inner zone of the national park, it is considered one of the destinations for true trekkers who want to experience the raw and pure beauty of nature, along with a trekking experience that is both challenging and impressive.
