“Tat Mok Waterfall, a massive single-tier waterfall where the stream plunges from a steep cliff, creating a fine mist that envelops the area like a white curtain.”

Tat Mok National Park is a significant natural attraction located near Phetchabun city. This area serves as a massive "green lung" connecting the eastern forest with the lower northern region. The park is named after the Tat Mok Waterfall, its majestic highlight. In the local dialect, Tat means waterfall or stone cliff, while Mok (Mist) refers to the characteristics of the water falling from a single steep cliff at a height_ of over 200-300 meters. When the water hits the rocks below, it shatters into fine droplets that fill the valley, appearing like a permanent veil of mist even on days without natural fog.

The atmosphere inside the park is serene, filled with lush hill evergreen and mixed deciduous forests. Besides Tat Mok Waterfall, there is Song Nang Waterfall, a beautiful 12-tiered fall perfect for trekkers wanting to experience the cool stream amidst bird calls and tranquility. What makes this park interesting is the peacefulness that differs from other major Phetchabun attractions, making it ideal for those seeking to escape the crowds to camp, stargaze, or embark on an authentic nature study.

Another standout feature is the Lan Chom Dao Viewpoint (Star Viewing Deck), a camping spot that offers a panoramic view of Phetchabun city. On clear nights, the sky is bedazzled with twinkling stars, contrasting beautifully with the city lights below. Tat Mok National Park is not just about waterfalls; it is a space to recharge your body and mind with pure forest air and cool water flowing year-round. It is a must-visit for "green" travelers who love simple yet impressive adventures.

We invite you to witness the magnificence of one of Phetchabun's highest misty waterfalls. Listen to the sounds of nature and feel the refreshing spray that will leave a lasting smile on your memory at Tat Mok National Park.
