“Pay respects to the incorruptible body of Luang Pho Pao, admire the spectacular color-lit limestone caves, and experience the tranquil atmosphere surrounded by mountains and greenery.”

Wat Tham Phorn Sawan is an important destination for Buddhist pilgrimage and nature appreciation in Nakhon Sawan Province, offering a harmonious blend of spiritual faith, natural beauty, and serenity.

Tham Phorn Sawan Cave is a natural limestone cave that is clean, airy, and well maintained. The interior is divided into several chambers with easy-to-walk concrete pathways, artificial waterfalls, and small fountains that enhance the cool and refreshing atmosphere. The cave walls display well-preserved natural stalactites and stalagmites.

Luang Pho Pao Khemakamo, formerly known as Phra Khru Nimit Sitthikarn, was the revered monk who played a vital role in developing the temple. After his passing, his body was found to be incorruptible and hardened like stone, a phenomenon that inspired deep faith among devotees. Today, his body is enshrined in a glass coffin for worship and blessing.

Tham Luang Pu To Cave houses a large statue of Somdej Phra Phutthachan (To Phromrangsi). The cave is artistically illuminated with purple, green, and blue spotlights, creating a mystical and visually striking atmosphere unlike typical caves.

Surrounding the temple is a lush forest garden and hillside area, featuring stairways leading to scenic viewpoints. From the top, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of rice fields and mountain ranges across Tak Fa District.
