Ton Tok Waterfall is located in Palian Subdistrict, Palian District, Trang Province, within the lush and fertile area of the Banthat Mountain Range. It is widely known for its striking beauty and is regarded as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Trang.

The waterfall’s most distinctive feature is its broad cliff face, where water flows powerfully over enormous rock platforms stacked in natural layers. Although the vertical drop is approximately 15 meters, the width_ of the rock face exceeds 50 meters, creating a dramatic curtain of cascading water. As water from the forested highlands of the Banthat Range converges and plunges downward, it produces a deep, echoing roar that leaves a strong impression on visitors throughout the year.

During the rainy season, Ton Tok Waterfall is especially spectacular, as the increased water volume turns the flow into a brilliant white cascade. The pool at the base of the waterfall is spacious and suitable for swimming, relaxing, and picnicking amid the cool shade of surrounding forest. Visitors can also continue along the same route to Ton Tae Waterfall, another scenic waterfall descending from the mountain range.

How to Get There

• Private Car: From Trang town, take Highway 4 (Trang–Phatthalung) for approximately 17 kilometers. Turn right onto Highway 4142 (Ban Kachong–Ban Hat Lao) and continue for about 27 kilometers. Follow the signposted junction leading to Ton Tok Waterfall.

• Public Transportation: Take a bus or minivan from Trang town to Palian District. From there, hire a local vehicle such as a motorcycle taxi or pickup truck to reach the waterfall, as it is located away from the main road.
