The State Authority Office served as the “district office in the forest” and was the core administrative center of the Phu Hin Rong Kla stronghold during 1970–1982 (B.E. 2510–2525). It functioned as the governing hub of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT), overseeing the daily lives and organization of members living deep within a politically tense forest environment.

• By car: From the Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park headquarters, drive along Road 2331 toward Phu Thap Boek for about 3 km. Look for the sign to the State Authority Office on the left. Park your car and walk approximately 100–200 meters to the site.
