“A 20-meter waterfall cascading over sandstone cliffs into a large clear pool suitable for swimming, combined with historical significance as a tribute to the first military unit from Sri Patcharin Camp who operated in the Phu Hin Rong Kla area.”

Sri Patcharin Waterfall is a destination rich in both natural beauty and historical significance, located at the foothills about 4–5 kilometers before the headquarters of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. The name “Sri Patcharin” was given in honor of the soldiers from Sri Patcharin Camp in Khon Kaen, the first military unit deployed to operate and establish presence in this former conflict zone.

Hidden Natural Beauty: The waterfall stands at approximately 20 meters high, with water streaming down a sandstone cliff into a large, crystal-clear pool below. Visitors can enjoy swimming when conditions are safe. The surrounding area is embraced by dry evergreen and mixed deciduous forests, creating a lush, shaded, and tranquil environment enhanced by the soothing sound of flowing water.

A Journey Worth Taking: Although located close to the main road, the site still has no direct vehicle access. Visitors must walk approximately 1 kilometer along a natural trail to reach the waterfall. This short trek helps preserve the site’s peaceful atmosphere and untouched charm.

More Than a Destination: Beyond its scenic appeal, the waterfall serves as a place of reflection. Visitors can experience the refreshing coolness of nature while connecting with an important chapter of Thailand’s past, making Sri Patcharin Waterfall a destination that offers both relaxation and historical depth.
