“Tad Fah Waterfall features a विशाल single-tier cascade dropping from a high sandstone cliff, combined with the historic “Dan Kor Sang” checkpoint of the CPT, set amid lush montane forest.”

Tad Fah Waterfall is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. This large single-tier waterfall dramatically plunges from a steep sandstone cliff, forming a wide curtain of white water that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding deep green forest.

The uniqueness of the waterfall lies in its sandstone cliff, naturally carved over time into striking geological patterns. The surrounding area is rich in biodiversity, with mosses and ferns thriving in the moist environment, creating a refreshing and vibrant natural setting.

Historically, this site was known as “Dan Kor Sang Waterfall.” It once served as a strategic checkpoint of the Communist Party of Thailand (CPT), surrounded by dense bamboo groves. Today, the peaceful atmosphere still carries echoes of its past as a guarded frontier deep in the forest.

The best time to visit is between August and October, during the rainy season, when the waterfall is at its most powerful and visually stunning. In the cooler months, the water flow decreases, but the area becomes शांत and pleasantly cool, ideal for relaxation.

Tad Fah Waterfall is perfect for adventure lovers and nature enthusiasts. Access requires traveling along a dirt road and trekking through forest trails, adding a sense of exploration. The effort is rewarded with breathtaking scenery and an immersive natural experience.
