“A waterfall famous for the rainbow phenomenon that appears in the afternoon, featuring wide streams and large natural pools, making it ideal for relaxation and family swimming activities.”

Sai Rung Waterfall is located within the Banthat Mountain Range National Reserved Forest in Yan Ta Khao District. It is one of the most popular waterfalls in Trang Province due to its unique natural charm. The waterfall flows down from a rocky cliff that is not very high, but during the rainy season it carries a large volume of water, creating a significant amount of mist.

The name “Sai Rung Waterfall” (Rainbow Waterfall) originates from a natural phenomenon that occurs around midday to afternoon. The fine mist produced by the cascading water interacts with sunlight, forming a beautiful rainbow that stretches across the area near the lower pool. Many visitors plan their trips specifically during this time to witness this stunning sight.

At the base of the waterfall, there is a wide rocky area and large natural pools, allowing visitors to swim safely and enjoy the cool, refreshing water. The surrounding area is covered with lush, dense forest that provides shade and a peaceful atmosphere. Walking paths and resting areas have been developed for visitors, making the site a popular eco-tourism destination for weekend getaways among residents of Trang and nearby provinces.
