Trang Church is located at 24 Huai Yot Road, Thap Thiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Trang Province. This nearly century-old church is one of Trang Province's 20 ancient sites. Its beautiful architecture deserves to be preserved for future generations to study. This important religious site for Presbyterians is beautiful and grand, offering a pleasant atmosphere. Its striking yellow color stands out in the heart of the city.

Built in 1915, it remains remarkably well-preserved today. The building is constructed of brick and mortar, with arched windows and doors, wooden shutters, and antique carved knobs. The bell tower was originally a rooftop, resembling an ancient military fort. Later, renovations resulted in the bell being too loud, leading to an extension and moving it to the third floor. You can only walk around the church and take photos from the outside.

The Christian Cathedral received the 2009 Outstanding Architectural Conservation Award in the Religious Sites and Temples category.

In 1905, Phraya Ratsadanupradit (Kosimbi Na Ranong), Governor of Phuket Province, donated $3,000. To build the Thap Thiang Hospital and strengthen the outreach station, Reverend Dr. Eugene Presley Dunlap and his wife, Mrs. Emeline Wilson Chriss, were responsible. They selected an abandoned pepper orchard in the Thap Thiang Market area as the location for the hospital and outreach station on November 5, 1910.

Initially, Reverend Dr. Dunlap and his wife, along with Chinese evangelist Khru Tun and medical assistant Mr. Chuang, pioneered the mission, known as the "Thap Thiang Outreach Station." Later, prominent missionaries, including Dr. Lucius Constant Baldley and his wife, Mrs. Edna Bruner Baldley, joined forces to establish Trang Church. Construction began on the "chapel," a wooden structure with a thatched roof. This later developed into a brick and mortar building, serving as a Christian temple. The dedication ceremony for the building was held on November 11, 1915. Christians commonly refer to it as the "Thap Thiang Temple."
