Khao Noi Temple is an ancient commoner's temple (Wat Rat) located on a small hill within the Hua Hin community area, named after the area's geographical feature (Khao Noi, or Small Hill). The temple was officially recognized when it received its Wisungkhama Sima on October 24, B.E. 2482. This confirms its status as an officially recognized temple of long-standing importance, dating back to the early development phase of Hua Hin as a resort town, coinciding with the arrival of the railway. Access to the temple is convenient; visitors can drive directly up to the parking lot at the top. This ease of access makes it a popular destination for worshippers and sightseers alike. Due to its elevated location, Wat Khao Noi is a vantage point offering a clear view of the developing Hua Hin city, blended with the beauty of the Gulf of Thailand.

The most prominent feature and center of faith is the Chedi Si Mongkhon (The Auspicious Pagoda), a beautifully constructed and sacred structure. The granting of the Wisungkhama Sima just before World War II reflects the temple's role as a spiritual anchor for the community since its early days. This temple, historically located near an important water source, also played a part in sustaining and gathering the people of the Nong Kae area over time. Best Time to Visit:
