“A natural three-tiered waterfall where powerful streams fall from high cliffs, creating a fine mist resembling fog, the origin of the name “Tat Mok,” surrounded by lush forest and a short nature trail, perfect for relaxation and fresh air.”
Tat Mok Waterfall, also known as Mae Khoi Waterfall, flows throughout the year, with the strongest and most scenic flow during the rainy season. The waterfall consists of three levels, with the upper tier featuring a steep rock cliff that sends water crashing down, forming a beautiful misty veil.
Biodiversity
The waterfall is located within the Mae Kham–Mae Kon National Reserved Forest. Along the walking trail, visitors will encounter rich forest vegetation such as ground orchids, mosses, and ferns covering rocks and forest floors, creating a cool and refreshing atmosphere.
Popular Activities
Visitors enjoy nature hiking, swimming in natural pools, and landscape photography, especially long-exposure techniques that capture the waterfall’s soft, flowing appearance.
Peaceful Atmosphere
Due to its location deep within the forest, Tat Mok Waterfall is ideal for travelers seeking escape from crowds and urban life, offering a true forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) experience amid pure nature.
