The surrounding village still preserves a simple highland community lifestyle. Most villagers work in agriculture, growing Arabica coffee, tea, and seasonal temperate crops. During June–October, the rainy season, the forest becomes lush green and mist covers the mountains almost all day, ideal for fresh nature viewing. Even in summer, the area is still cooler than lowlands, especially in the early morning and evening.

The final section is a steep mountain road with many curves, but it is fully concrete and can be used by normal cars in normal weather. However, during the rainy season, careful driving and vehicle inspection are recommended.

• Public transport: You can take a minivan or public bus from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao District, then use local transport or community vehicles up to Ban Pha Daeng Village, suitable for those unfamiliar with mountain routes.
