SCMAGLEV and Railway Park, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central), opened in 2011 and is one of Nagoya’s key attractions. It is ideal for families and railway enthusiasts, offering a combination of historical exhibits, cutting-edge technology, and hands-on experiences.

Hall of Rolling Stock: Features 39 real train cars, including early Shinkansen models, experimental trains like the 300X, and the Maglev MLX01, which set a world speed record of 581 km/h. Steam locomotives, diesel trains, and historical passenger trains are also displayed.

Driving Simulators: Visitors can experience controlling trains virtually, from Shinkansen to conventional trains. Tickets for simulators are limited and often require a lottery or first-come-first-served purchase (100–500 JPY per session).

How to Get There
- Take the Aonami Line from Nagoya Station to Kinjō-Futo Station (approximately 25 minutes, 360 JPY). The museum is a 2-minute walk from the station.
