“The coordination and boarding pass collection point under the Royal Thai Navy's safety standards, featuring the most stunning panoramic viewpoint of Samae San Bay atop Khao Ma Cho.”

Khao Ma Cho Pier serves as the vital strategic sole boarding point for travelers headed to Samaesarn Island Located within the grounds of the Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum and managed by the Royal Thai Navy, this pier functions as the heart of a systematic eco-tourism operation. From ticket sales and visitor screening to organizing ferry schedules, every step is designed to minimize environmental impact and preserve the island’s pristine natural resources.

A must-visit highlight while waiting for your ferry is the Khao Ma Cho Viewpoint, located just behind the pier. A short trek leads to the summit, offering a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic vista of Samae San Bay. From here, you can see the vibrant turquoise waters contrasting with the clear blue sky. Additionally, nearby stands the Viharn Luang Phor Dam, a sacred shrine revered by the local community where visitors often pay their respects for good fortune before setting sail

In 2026, Khao Ma Cho Pier has upgraded its services with an efficient E-Booking system, making travel planning much more convenient. The area features a modern passenger lounge where naval officers provide briefings on eco-friendly conduct within the conservation zone. The surrounding grounds are well-maintained with coastal nature trails, reflecting a model for sustainable tourism management.
