“The deepest and tallest waterfall along the nature trail, featuring a vertical cliff surrounded by pristine forest, ideal for hikers trekking 1.4 km from Pha Phueng Waterfall.”
Pha The Waterfall is the fourth and final waterfall along the exploration route of Lan Sang National Park. It represents the richness of the inner forest and offers a more challenging experience compared to the lower-tier waterfalls. This area is a favorite destination for visitors seeking untouched nature and a peaceful forest environment.
Distinctive Features
Pha The Waterfall flows over a steep cliff approximately 25 meters high. Water from the Lan Sang stream plunges from the cliff edge in a long vertical fall into the basin below. The powerful sound of the waterfall can be heard from afar, especially during the rainy season when the water volume increases significantly, enhancing its natural beauty.
Access and Hiking Route
Reaching Pha The Waterfall requires trekking along a nature trail with moderate to steep slopes. The waterfall is located about 1.4 km from Pha Phueng Waterfall and around 1,350 meters from Pha Noi Waterfall. The hike requires good physical readiness, and walking in groups is recommended for safety.
