Khao Ngon Nak, also known as Dragon Crest Mountain, is a scenic hiking destination located within Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park in Krabi, Thailand. The trail is about 7.4 kilometers round-trip and takes 3–4 hours to complete.

The trek winds through dense rainforest with rich biodiversity, including educational signs and resting points along the way. The summit rewards hikers with a panoramic view of Krabi’s coast, the turquoise sea, and scattered islands - making it one of the most photographed viewpoints in the region.

• By car: Drive from Krabi Town or Ao Nang to the national park entrance, located near Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort.

• By taxi or rental: You can hire a taxi or rent a motorbike from Krabi Town or Ao Nang; travel time is approximately 30–40 minutes.

• Start early to avoid the midday heat

• Wear proper hiking shoes and bring enough drinking water

• No trash bins on the trail – carry your trash down

• You must register at the ranger station before starting the hike

Entrance Fee:

There is no direct entrance fee, but as it is located within Nopparat Thara Beach - Phi Phi Islands National Park, there is a park entrance fee.

• Thai citizens: Adults 40 THB / Children 20 THB

• Foreigners: Adults 400 THB / Children 200 THB

(This ticket can also be used to enter other attractions within the national park.)
