“Bangkok's leading contemporary art centre offering immersive art exhibitions, cultural events, and creative workshops year-round.”
Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) is a major contemporary arts venue located in the heart of Bangkok, dedicated to promoting and showcasing creativity through visual arts, performance, film, music, literature, and cultural exchange.
Spread over 9 floors in a distinctive spiral-shaped building, BACC offers both permanent and rotating exhibitions from Thai and international artists. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of artistic experiences including painting, sculpture, multimedia installations, photography, live performances, and short film screenings.
BACC is more than just an art museum. It also includes a dedicated art library, shops selling artist-designed merchandise, relaxing cafés, workshop spaces, and youth activity areas. These features make the centre a social and creative hub for students, families, artists, and travelers alike.
In addition to exhibitions, BACC hosts frequent cultural events such as film festivals, panel talks, artist meetups, live music, and community workshops — helping connect the public with contemporary art in a friendly and accessible way. The centre plays a key role in Bangkok’s ambition to be a UNESCO Creative City and a leader in regional cultural development.
