Koh Ngam Noi is a small limestone island situated in the Chumphon Archipelago National Park, alongside Koh Ngam Yai. Together, these two islands are known as the Ngam Islands, one of the most famous dive sites in the Gulf of Thailand.

Although there are no beaches for visitors to relax on, Koh Ngam Noi captivates divers with its stunning underwater world. Surrounding the island is a thriving shallow coral reef teeming with diverse marine species. Visitors can admire soft corals in vivid colors, staghorn corals, bush corals, sea anemones, and many other underwater wonders.

The island is also a vital breeding ground for giant clams and home to countless species such as grouper, butterflyfish, clownfish, and schools of small reef fish. Snorkeling here allows you to witness the vibrant marine ecosystem up close, making it an unforgettable experience even for beginners.

• By Private Car: Drive to Pak Nam Chumphon or Hat Sai Ri Beach and park your car at a tour operator or pier area. Take a speedboat or long-tail boat operated by local tour companies to reach Koh Ngam Noi.

• By Public Transport: Take a train or bus to Chumphon Station or a flight to Chumphon Airport (CJM). From there, take a local songthaew, taxi, or minivan to Pak Nam Pier or Hat Sai Ri Pier. Book a One Day Snorkeling Trip to visit Koh Ngam Noi.

• Best time to visit: December – May, when the sea is calm and clear.

• Always wear a life jacket and follow the guide’s instructions while snorkeling.

There is no direct entry fee for the island itself, but visitors must pay the Chumphon Archipelago National Park fee:

Opening Hours:

• Open year-round. Snorkeling trips usually operate between 09:00 AM – 04:00 PM as part of a One Day Tour package.
