Memorial of the Royal Visit This memorial site was established to honor and commemorate the immense royal grace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX),

• Take Highway 3499 toward Kaeng Krachan Dam and look for the signs for the memorial, which is located on the hill near the dam crest.

Motorcycle:

• The site is easily accessible via a well-paved road that has a slight incline.

On Foot:

• For those who enjoy light exercise, you can walk up from the base of the hill near the dam crest to enjoy the views along the way.

• Can be visited in any season, but November to January offers the most pleasant temperatures and the best photography lighting.

• Please dress respectfully as the site houses a Buddha’s Footprint replica and is considered a place of worship.

• Wide-angle photography from the viewpoint allows for a clear view of the dam's curve; arriving in the morning provides the best frontal lighting.

• There are no large restaurants at the summit, so it is recommended to eat at the lakeside shops below before ascending.

• As a place of peace, visitors are encouraged to keep noise to a minimum and strictly maintain cleanliness.
