“A learning and agricultural tourism resource for the whole family in a relaxed atmosphere near Khao Yai. Activities include feeding cute animals, mushroom picking, mushroom spawn making workshops, and much more.”

Khao Yai Farm Village began as a learning center and development center for economic crops, focusing on growing vegetables and mushrooms under controlled conditions. The concept was later expanded into a fully integrated agritourism destination, with the vision of becoming both a natural classroom and a relaxing destination for families.

The farm boasts spacious grounds, clearly divided into zones for edutainment activities (learning combined with entertainment). The centerpiece of the farm is a large mushroom house, where a variety of economic mushroom species, such as enoki mushrooms, Bhutanese oyster mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms, are cultivated. Visitors can observe the production process, from spawning to harvesting, and even pick fresh mushrooms to take home.

Furthermore, there are interesting learning centers, including:

  • Tissue Culture Lab (LAB): A platform demonstrating the propagation of rare economic crops in a sterile environment.

  • Waste Bank: Teaching waste sorting and maximizing waste utilization based on the principles of the circular economy.

  • Small-scale livestock zone: Includes a sheep farm, a rabbit farm, and a happy egg-laying chicken coop, allowing children to interact and feed the animals up close.

The farm also places great importance on activities and workshops, with rotating activities such as mushroom block making, herbal soap making, candle making, clay sculpting, vegetable growing, and goat milking (seasonal). For those seeking a more natural getaway, the farm offers a camping area that accommodates both private tents and group activities, making it a destination offering experiences in agriculture, science, and recreation.

How to Get There
  • Private Car: From Bangkok, take Mittraphap Road to Pak Chong. Turn onto Khao Yai Road, following the signs. The farm is on the left before the checkpoint. Easy access.

  • Van/Bus Terminal: Get off at Pak Chong District and then take a taxi or songthaew.

  • Getting around Khao Yai: Private car or rental car are the most convenient options.
