This Buddha statue is the mamoth statue of standing posture of Lord Buddha with 85 ft height_ in Chunar stone carved blocks (sand stones) was erected by "Rev. Ghasan Rashmi" Mahastaver of Wat Thai Sarnath Varanasi as token of his gratitude, love veneration and in memos of his beloved Dhamma Brother "Ven. Phrakhru Prakash Samadkhikhun" of Bangkok, Thailand.

The unique standing posture statue was carved out of Chunar stone blocks, 843 nos in total weighing around 1.5 ton each, including allied works like R.C.C. piles foundation with R.C.C. footing Cap. Anchoring transfering around 2.850 tons of total load to its soil base, spread evenly over an area of 1,600 sq.ft. (148.70 sq.ms) founds.

Carving work extended from 1995 to 2005 for about 11 years continuously and the erection of statue was executed during the period from Nov 2005 to De 2011.
