“Experience romance at Dok Siao Blooming Ground, where thousands of pure white wild orchid trees bloom together once a year, turning the tea forest valley into a breathtaking white paradise.”

Dok Siao Blooming Ground is the most significant natural landmark of Ban Pa Miang, situated within Chae Son National Park. The "Dok Siao" flower, or Wild Orchid Tree, is a local flower that begins to bloom in shades of white and pale pink from January to February each year. What makes this site special is the sheer density of the trees in this area. Everywhere you look, the landscape is painted in white, contrasting beautifully with the deep green of the Miang (tea) forest and the clear blue sky. It is nature’s masterpiece that encourages travelers to navigate winding roads to witness this rare beauty.

The charm of Dok Siao Blooming Ground lies not only in the flowers but also in the surrounding atmosphere of mountains and soft morning mist. When the blossoms are at their peak, the community hosts the "Dok Siao Blooming Festival" to welcome travelers. The area features spaces for visitors to relax, take photos, and experience the chilly breeze. There are also paths through tunnels of blossom branches, creating a living painting. Beyond the visual delight, the subtle fragrance of the flowers offers a sense of deep relaxation.

The standout charm of this blooming ground is how the wild orchid trees grow harmoniously among the tea plants and natural forest, reflecting a rich ecosystem preserved by villagers for decades. Travelers can experience soft morning sunlight filtering through delicate petals, creating light and shadow play sought after by photographers. The area includes wooden terraces and viewpoints designed to blend with the environment, making a warm tea break in the cold weather a special moment. Additionally, a popular activity is finding the Historical Siao Tree, the largest and oldest in the village, standing as a symbol of endurance and the new season. The white blanket of flowers across the valley is often called Thailand’s white snow, providing an unforgettable impression and serving as a starting point for nature trails to discover rare biodiversity in this peaceful hill evergreen forest.
