Dok Siao Blooming Ground is the most significant natural landmark of Ban Pa Miang, situated within Chae Son National Park. The "Dok Siao" flower, or Wild Orchid Tree, is a local flower that begins to bloom in shades of white and pale pink from January to February each year. What makes this site special is the sheer density of the trees in this area. Everywhere you look, the landscape is painted in white, contrasting beautifully with the deep green of the Miang (tea) forest and the clear blue sky. It is nature’s masterpiece that encourages travelers to navigate winding roads to witness this rare beauty.

The charm of Dok Siao Blooming Ground lies not only in the flowers but also in the surrounding atmosphere of mountains and soft morning mist. When the blossoms are at their peak, the community hosts the "Dok Siao Blooming Festival" to welcome travelers. The area features spaces for visitors to relax, take photos, and experience the chilly breeze. There are also paths through tunnels of blossom branches, creating a living painting. Beyond the visual delight, the subtle fragrance of the flowers offers a sense of deep relaxation.

The standout charm of this blooming ground is how the wild orchid trees grow harmoniously among the tea plants and natural forest, reflecting a rich ecosystem preserved by villagers for decades. • Private Car: From Lampang city, take Highway 1035 towards Chae Son National Park. From the park entrance, continue for 10 km towards Kiew Fin (the route to Chiang Mai). You will reach the Dok Siao Blooming Ground just before the village center. The road is winding and steep; using low gears and driving with caution is advised.

• Public Transport: Take the Lampang-Chae Son local songthaew and hire a local vehicle from Chae Son National Park entrance to take you up to the village.

• Best Time to Visit: Mid-February is usually the "Full Bloom" period. It is recommended to check the blooming status with the local community before traveling.

• Photography: Visit between 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM for soft morning light and the chance to see mist among the flowers.

• Caution: Do not pick the flowers or shake the branches for photos. Please keep the area clean and follow community rules.
