• Private Car: From the ring road (4169) around the island, in the Na Mueang area, there is a turnoff uphill to the monastery. Warning: The road is steep and narrow. Drivers must be skilled or use a local pickup truck (4WD).

• Recommended time: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM. The evening light makes the golden Buddha image beautiful.

• Wear polite clothing and comfortable shoes.

• Bring drinking water as there are no shops.
