How to Get There
- By car: From Chaiyaphum city, take Highway 201 (Chaiyaphum–Chum Phae) heading toward Phu Khiao District. Then turn onto Highway 2055 toward Kaset Sombun District and continue for about 20 kilometers following signs to Huai Kum Dam. The road is paved, and all types of vehicles can access the area conveniently.
Travel Tips
- It is recommended to visit during late morning to late afternoon, which is ideal for bamboo rafting. The weather is comfortable, not too hot, and there is a pleasant breeze throughout the day.
- The best season to visit is the late rainy season to early winter, when the reservoir is full and the scenery is at its most beautiful and refreshing.
- Bring sun protection such as hats, sunglasses, or umbrellas, as most activities take place outdoors and on the raft.
- Wear breathable clothing and suitable footwear for walking along the reservoir or getting on and off the raft for safety and convenience.
- Please help keep the area clean and avoid littering in the water or public spaces to preserve the natural beauty and ecological balance in the long term.
