“Marvel at the endless flowing sea of mist surrounded by Bu Yong’s peaks. Enjoy the cool, fresh air amid the peaceful atmosphere of a historic village.”

Bu Yong Foothill Sea of Mist Talo Mano Viewpoint is a viewpoint reflecting the ecological wonder of the Budo–Su-ngai Padi mountain range, a complex highland system serving as a natural barrier and a vital source of humidity for Narathiwat Province. The geographical background of this area is fascinating in both geological and meteorological aspects, as Bu Yong Mountain stands along the monsoon wind path and is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. When temperatures drop at night, large amounts of moisture from the Budo forest become trapped in the valley basin, creating a dense and stable sea of mist. The white waves of mist gently flow over treetops and villages below, forming a deeply captivating landscape.

Culturally, the foothill area lies within Talo Mano Village, a historic settlement that is home to the renowned 300-Year Mosque (Wadi Al-Hussein Mosque). Visiting the sea of mist here is not only about experiencing nature but also about absorbing the traditional Muslim way of life that has long coexisted with the forest. The surrounding forest is also an important botanical site, home to hornbills and the rare "Golden Leaf" (Yaandao), a precious plant found in only a few places in the world. Visitors can truly experience tranquility, as the site has only recently been developed for tourism by the community, maintaining simplicity and environmental conservation as its core principles. This allows travelers to reconnect with nature and witness the grandeur of the "City of Hornbills" from a different perspective. Watching the golden sunrise gradually riseเหนือ Bu Yong’s ridge and reflect upon the white mist is a rare and precious reward in today’s urban society.
