“A lake spanning over 1,500 rai, offering a sea-like atmosphere with beautiful sunset views, a cycling path around the lake, and a glimpse into the community lifestyle following the Bang Rakam Model.”

Bueng Takreng is a prominent natural attraction in Phitsanulok Province. Its vast lake stretches as far as the eye can see, earning it the nickname "Bang Rakam Sea." It's an ideal place to relax, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy open natural views.

This area originated from the "Bang Rakam Model," a water management project designed to solve flood and drought problems. It was developed into a large water storage area and further expanded into a tourist destination that benefits both the economy and the quality of life of the community.

The area features a massive lake surrounded by paved roads, making it convenient for driving, cycling, or jogging. Inside, there are also artificial beaches, waterfront pavilions, and relaxation spots that create a seaside atmosphere.

Besides being a tourist attraction, it also reflects the way of life of local fishermen who continue to practice freshwater fishing alongside tourism. Tourists can experience real life and taste local cuisine made from fresh ingredients around the lake.

A key highlight is the evening, especially during sunset, when the orange light reflects beautifully on the water's surface, making it one of the most beautiful sunset viewpoints in Phitsanulok.
