Wat Hong Thong is an old and respected temple serving as a spiritual center for the people of Khanu Woralaksaburi and Khlong Khlung. The temple plays an important role in religious activities and community gatherings. Its peaceful and shaded surroundings make it ideal for meditation and spiritual practice.
History of Luang Pho Chul
When the temple required a new abbot to lead and develop the monastery, the villagers and temple committee agreed that Phra Chul Issarayaṇo, who had previously lived at the temple, was the most suitable choice.
Phra Wachirasarnsopon (Chul Issarayaṇo) was born on April 12, 1894. He was a highly revered monk known for his dedication to preserving and developing the Buddhist faith.
He strictly adhered to monastic discipline and was deeply respected by followers.
He passed away on October 19, 1969, at the age of 74 (51 years in monkhood).

- Get off near the access road to the temple, then walk about 200–300 meters.
