“Cave with ancient Mon script”

Wat Khao Wong is located at Wat Khao Wong, Ban Khao Wong, Moo 5, Khao Wong Subdistrict, Phra Phutthabat District. It is about 3 kilometers from Phra Phutthabat District. Appeared in the central region and southern Thailand in the pre-Sukhothai period until it evolved into the ancient Khmer and Mon scripts which King Ramkhamhaeng the Great adapted to create the origin of Thai characters To this day, the Narai cave inscription contains 3 lines of text that were inscribed in the Buddhist century. 12 (Dvaravati Era) In that era, the Mon people had prosperous power. The inscriptions were written in prose.
